Today's "Building a Yoga Foundation" recap is going to be short and sweet because I just completed Yoga with Adriene's Bedtime Sequence and I am so amazingly relaxed and ready for sleep. :) Two out of the four in my house are under the weather. I had escaped so far then at dinner it suddenly hit me out of nowhere that I was exhausted. I had already been dealing with a sore throat off and on all day. So now with the fatigue and sneezing, it is looking like my immune system may be losing the battle. So instead of my RISE today, I decided to pamper my body with the Bedtime Sequence video and an early night to sleep to help my immune system. But first I did my foundation video for today.
Foundations of Yoga Day 17
The foundation video for day 17 is "Half Moon Pose" or Ardha Chandrasana. This is a challenging balancing pose but don't let that stop you from trying it. Adriene shows multiple variations for this pose for whatever stage you are at in your practice. Here is one of the variations with the final pose.
Now onto the bedtime sequence. :)
This is such a soft and relaxing practice. You just have to try this one yourself so you can see how wonderful it feels. This practice is like a warm blanket with a mug of hot cocoa. Tonight or tomorrow night give yourself an half hour before bedtime and practice this sequence. You will be so glad you did. :)
